YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN A CHARTER COMMUNITY

A successful charter school requires community members willing to roll up their sleeves to support the needs of a dynamic learning community. To make it work, parents/guardians are expected to play a larger role than they might at a traditional public school.

At Stargate, our community members are expected to play a collaborative, hands-on role that includes:
  • Volunteering
  • Providing financial support
  • Voting in elections
  • Reading weekly updates from the school's leadership team
  • Responding to teacher requests for support
  • Keeping up to date on Board issues/decisions/activities
For more information about how to get involved, watch for emails and other communications from the school or visit the Volunteer page.
