Meetings, Agendas, Minutes, Calendar

Board meetings are posted on the Stargate School Events Calendar. A full-year schedule is accessible via the Board Meeting calendar button on this page. 

 

Board business meeting agendas and minutes are posted here.  Agendas are shared at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, and minutes are posted within 10 days after they are approved by the Board, usually at the subsequent business meeting.. Any changes made to an agenda at the start of the meeting will not be reflected in the previously posted agenda but will be noted in the minutes.

Board Meetings - All meetings of the Board and its committees, except executive sessions, are open to the public. All Board business meetings include a public comment portion for attendees to address the Board. The Board is not required to answer questions or comments during public meetings. Items on the agenda may have an opportunity for public discussion when noted on the agenda.

 

Community Updates - A Board meeting summary is typically distributed to community members after each Board meeting via the Adams 12 Five Star Schools' Infinite Campus (IC) system. 

 

Other Communication:  Notice of special meetings or other announcements are distributed via the Adams 12 Five Star Schools' Infinite Campus (IC) Messenger system.

 

Stakeholders Meeting - The Board holds an annual members meeting to present strategic goals.  This is typically held in the fall.

 

State of the School - The Board, in conjunction with the School Accountability Committee, hosts an additional annual meeting to present results from the annual stakeholder survey, progress on educational goals, the school's financial health, fundraising highlights and more.
